Women’s Ministries
Dare to Care
Dare to Care is an outreach ministry focused on praying for various needs in the community. Once a week, members of The Dare to Care Team get together to pray, write cards, or prepare treats for members of the community who have a special need, such as a recent birth or death in the family, an illness, an accident, or any other type of extenuating circumstance. Dare to Care meetings take place every Monday night at 7:00 PM at the home of Jason & Kari Bronec. Those who would like to participate in Dare to Care but are unable to attend the meetings are welcome to prepare homemade treats and/or greeting cards to be donated and used as needed. If you have questions about this ministry, please contact Kari Bronec.
Cooks for Christ
The purpose of the Cooks for Christ ministry is to prepare homemade meals for members of the church and community who would feel particularly blessed by the gift of a delicious, nutritious supper prepared by loving hands. Cooks for Christ meets approximately once a month in the CBAG kitchen to prepare meals which can be easily frozen for future delivery to shut-ins, new mothers, those with an illness or death in the family, or anyone else who might benefit from such a ministry. If you would like to participate in the Cooks for Christ ministry, or if you know someone who could use a hot, homemade meal, please contact Carolyn Babcock.
Care Core Teams
If you are a woman and you attend CBAG on a regular basis, you belong to a Care Core group. At the beginning of each calendar year, each woman in the church is assigned to one of three Care Core teams under the leadership of Becky Gates, Kim Winkowitsch, and Carolyn Babcock. Care Core teams are responsible for organizing church potlucks, providing meals to needy families or individuals, and meeting other needs within the church body. If you are new to our church community, or if you are unsure of the team to which you belong, please speak to one of the aforementioned leaders to determine your placement.
Women's Ministries—Unlimited! More than you imagined
Our world is changing rapidly, and so are the needs of women. We as Christians must be relevant to those we want to reach. Women's Ministries—Unlimited! emphasizes the unlimited opportunities open to women for ministry in their local churches and communities. Every woman should be ministered to according to her need, and every born-again woman should be encouraged to find her place of ministry within the body of Christ. More.
